Don't Be a Beach, Go to One!

Hey guys! Here's a quick little design I did to try out a new technique.

The base for all my nails was Cocktails & Coconuts from Essie. I used white acrylic to paint the lettering on my ring finger. For my other nails, I sponged on a gradient of Cocktails & Coconuts, Blue Away from Sally Hansen, That's What I Mint from Essence and Shower Together from China Glaze. I then used a water marbling technique with Sure Thing from Revlon to create the waves/water reflections.

I absolutely love how this turned out and I will definitely be trying it again!

'Tis the Season

Well it's December now, so you know what that means... CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!! Christmas is pretty much my favourite season, second only to Halloween, so I'm definitely excited for this time of year. And so, to kick things off, here's a quick little Christmas design. 

I started with a base of Blue Away from Sally Hansen, then began painting the letters with red acrylic. I then added in the lining on the letters with white acrylic, as well as the dots and leaves. And there ya go. This was pretty quick for me, and probably only took about 10 minutes.
