Well, it's the most spooktacular day of the year again: Halloween! So I'd like to start by saying happy Halloween, and also feliz Día de Los Muertos, since today kicks off those festivities. My official Halloween day manicure this year resembles mine from last year, which you can see here, but I changed it up a little bit.
The black is Black Satin from Rimmel, and the white is a white French Manicure pen from Sally Hansen. All the details are acrylic. As I mentioned last year, I think Sugar Skulls are quite beautiful, and the whole idea of The Day of the Dead is pretty cool. I like how it's a celebration rather than a scary, gloomy event.
I also happened to make a Sugar Skull drawing. It's all done in Sharpies.
I hope you guys enjoy! Have a fun (and safe) time tonight, whether you're trick-or-treating, at a party, or just relaxing at home! :)

Mini Manicures: Halloween
With Halloween just a few days away, here are a couple of mini manis for you guys to check out! The first of course, is my spiderweb nails. This is the third year of done them, and you can see them here from last year.
It's the exact same tutorial as last year.
1. Start with your base polish. I used Reveal Everything Red from ASP, which is a gel polish (more on that soon!).
2. Using a white polish or striper, draw your web shape and fill it in.
3. Use a black striper to draw in the web.
4. Finish drawing in the web, top coat and you're done!
I love this manicure because it's pretty simple, and most people can do it. Plus, people tend to be amazed by the spiderwebs, so get ready for lots of compliments!
This second mini manicure is a vampire mouth, but you can change it to be any monster mouth.
1. Start with a base coat of red or pink for the lips. Once again, this is Reveal Everything Red.
2. Using black (I used acrylic paint), paint the inside of the mouth.
3. Add in the teeth in white. The teeth can be for whatever monster you'd like. I went for the pointy canines and made it a vampire, but try all sharp teeth for a werewolf, or all flat teeth for a Frankenstein look. Top coat and you're done!
Hope you guys enjoy! Stay tuned for more Halloween manicures!

I'm Just the Dreamer Type
On Monday night I went to a Ghost Town concert, VIP too, since it was totally affordable for a teen on a budget. ;) The whole concert was actually the Bryan Stars Tour, which featured four other bands (SayWeCanFly, Oh No Fiasco, Modern Day Escape, and Her Bright Skies), with Ghost Town headlining.
The next band was Oh No Fiasco. They were absolutely phenomenal! I bought a CD from them and got it signed! :) I also got a photo with them, but unfortunately, their singer wasn't there for it, but my friend and I did talk to her earlier in the night.
And here's my Ghost Town nails.

And here's my Ghost Town nails.
So this is my second Ghost Town manicure, which is based off the Ghost Town artwork by Alister Dippner. If you haven't seen my first one, you can see it here. My thumb is based off the Dreamer artwork, which is one of my favourite Ghost Town songs. The base is Frostbite from China Glaze, and the filigree and writing are acrylic paint. On my pointer finger, I painted a part of their album artwork (Their album is called Party in the Graveyard). The base is High Line Green from NYC and the design is acrylic. My middle finger is based off of the artwork for their song Tentacles, with a base of Let's Get Lost from Essence and the detail is acrylic. On my ring finger, the design is inspired by You're So Creepy. The base is Gypsy Queen by Misa and the filigree and writing is acrylic.
Alister drew me a unicorn on the back of my VIP pass. :)
This is Lindsey, the singer of Oh No Fiasco. She has an amazing voice! Here's my favourite song by them.
And here's Alix, during one of Ghost Town's acoustic songs. Here's one of my favourite Ghost Town songs.
Finally, here's a super close up of my nail, just to show in fact, I did paint these, as you can see paint strokes. :)
Hope you guys enjoy! Get ready for Halloween designs coming at you! Any requests for Halloween??

Black and White Mickey Mouse
Hey guys! So, I have lots of posts for you coming up! Especially with Halloween nearing. So in the next 3 weeks, expect concert nails, art photos and zombie and skeleton themed designs. For now though I have a simple, black and white design from *sorry* 2 weeks ago.
I kept it super simple with the geometric black and white theme. The black is Black Satin from Rimmel and the white is the Sally Hansen French manicure pen because I have yet to find a new white I like, ever since Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Whirlwind White was discontinued. So, do any of you know of any good white polishes? Let me know if you do! Anyways, back to the manicure. Yes, I stuck Mickey Mouse in, but by now you should all know my obsession with Disney, especially Mickey Mouse. :) Hope you guys enjoy, and I should have another post for you tomorrow.
