Oops, I Did It Again...

No, I'm not referring to the Britney Spear's song with the title of this post. What I mean by it though, is oops, I painted a Mickey Mouse manicure again. Yes. I know. I've only painted Mickey Mouse manicures a hundred times before, but I can't help it. I just love that mouse.

But, of course, since it's Christmas time, I had to create a Santa Claus Mickey Mouse. I started with a base of the Sally Hansen gel colour, White Away. Then I added in the details with black, white and red acrylic.

And here is my super creative photo in a Christmas ornament. :p

Less than 3 days until Christmas!!

Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal

My favourite Christmas movie of all time is Home Alone, so I decided to do a quick manicure in tribute to it.

The base is You Only Live Twice and The Spy Who Loved Me from OPI. Then I wrote the famous quote (from the movie "Angels With Filthy Souls" that Kevin is watching in Home Alone) with white acrylic. It was a pretty simple manicure, but it was fun to do.

I can't believe Christmas is almost here!!

The Big Jingle

Last week, I won tickets to The Big Jingle, which is a huge Christmas concert put on by Much Music. So of course, I just had to paint my nails for it.

My pinkie is for the band Hedley. The base is Black Satin from Rimmel, and the letters are acrylic. On my ring finger, I painted The Big Jingle logo. The base is White On from Sally Hansen and the design is acrylic. I did a Christmas sweater design on my middle finger with a base of You Only Live Twice and The Spy Who Loved Me from OPI. My ring finger was the Fall Out Boy logo, on a base of White on with acrylic detailing. My thumb (seen below), was the Much logo, with a base of Black Satin.

Here's a photo of my nails at the concert. Much Music even shared my nails on Twitter!

These are some shots of the stage. By far, the funniest, and most entertaining act of the night was Ylvis when they performed "What Does the Fox Say?" (seen below)

Pretty much everyone who performed did amazingly. Fefe Dobson and Serena Ryder both had beautiful voices, and Hedley and Fall Out Boy (below) both rocked it.

Enjoy!
