Bananas... For Banana Nails

The beginning of school was so crazy hectic, that I did very little nail art. This was one of the few/super quick manis I did.

The black nails were a base of Liquid Leather from China Glaze. I then put on a tiny bit of All About You from Sinful Colors. Then, the magenta nails are Orchid Me Not from Sally Hansen. The white nails started with a base of Sure Thing from Revlon, and then I painted the bananas using Orchid Me Not, and lined them with black acrylic. Finally, the neon pink nails were Pool Party from China Glaze, which I added random lines on using a black striper.

I think this design was only on for a couple days before I switched over to the Arkells nails. But it was fun while it lasted! I seriously love painting banana nails. :D

Flick Off! (the lights that is...)

I'm serious guys. Flick off those lights, save some energy and celebrate Earth Day! Here's my mani (on a Monday, since I hope to have a new post for you guys every Monday now), to celebrate Earth Day!

The ring finger is a base of Frostbite from China Glaze. Then I painted the heart shape with black acrylic, followed by the pieces of land on the Earth with green acrylic. For the other nails, I used a base of Black Satin from Rimmel. I then layered on white acrylic, Love Nails from Sinful Colors, and Tomorrow Never Dies from OPI to achieve the galaxy effect. I finished off with the some stars, and there you go, my Earth Day, galaxy manicure.

31 Day Nail Art Challenge --- Day 21, Colour

My day 21 manicure is my attempt to hold onto summer. :) It's a lovely ocean inspired manicure complete with whimsical sea turtles.

I created a faded gradient with Love Nails from Sinful Colors and a bit of Yoga-Ta Get This Blue from OPI. The turtles are acrylic and the french is Love Nails. This manicure absolutely reminds me of my Starfish On the Beach manicure. But I'm not sure which I like better. Which manicure do you guys prefer?
